2024 Update

It's been a while and we've made some new internet friends, so here's a much needed update about our Gaynea Pig herd.

We are Kat & Sara, and this site is dedicated to our fur potatoes! We currently have four personal piggies, and typically foster 1-2 for the Metropolitan Guinea Pig Rescue.

Leo (brown agouti / cream) is the true OG (original Gaynea!) and was one of the first to join our family. He lost his cagemate and brother Lynx last year, and he met Lyra (tri-color red / brown / white) through MGPR. They bonded, we adopted her, and she's been part of our herd ever since!

Io (tri-color Abby) joined the fam as a friend for Rigel, who has since passed. We foster-failed Vega (blonde shorthair) from MGPR due to her circumstances, and she and Io have since become roommates.

We had a wonderful five years with each of these angel babies. Rigel (tri-color Silkie) passed unexpectedly, and we lost Lynx (agouti brown / white) after a long battle with cancer. We miss these sweet baby boys every day.
