Leo's Field Trip to the Vet

Hey everyone! Just thought we would post a little update on our lil Leo.
Overall, we've been pretty lucky in terms of our boys' health. We haven't been to the vet too many times, aside Rigel's initial ringworm and Io's strange neurological episodes a couple years ago.

Yesterday morning we noticed an unusual amount of discharge from one of his eyes. We couldn't quite tell if something was wrong, but it worsened throughout the day. He has also been a little grumpy; most likely from the discomfort.
So both Lynx and Leo took a field trip to Warm & Fuzzy Veterinary Center yesterday. Leo would have been fine on his own, but Lynx has some separation anxiety, so he came along for the ride!

The veterinarian couldn't find any scratches or anything in his eye, but noticed some significant swelling and redness on his eyelid and the corner of his eye. She diagnosed him with conjunctivitis. He most likely got a piece of hay or bedding in his eye, which caused an infection. But the good news is that he has eye drops for a couple days, and it should clear up soon. He will be back to his normal happy, squeaky self in no time!
